Purity Wangechi
Counselling practice site with booking. A live site for a Kenyan counselling psychologist: services, pricing, articles, and a consultation booking path.

Overview
Purity Wangechi is a counselling psychologist in Kenya. The site is the public front of that practice: who the work is for, what sessions look like, what they cost, and how to book. It is live at puritywangechi.com.
The Problem
A therapy practice that lives on referrals and WhatsApp still needs a public place where someone can read the work, see the fees, and ask for a session without another back-and-forth.
The Approach
Keep the site about the practice, not about the stack. A visitor should be able to decide if this is the right therapist and send a booking request without hunting.
System / Product Design
Services, skills, about, education, pricing, booking, and articles sit on one public surface. The booking form is the conversion path. Clinical claims stay in her words, not in mine.
Technology
Web
Challenges
Trust, not a landing-page trick
People arriving in a bad week do not need a clever hero. They need clarity, fees, and a way to ask for help.
The practice is the product
The site should not outshine the work. If it feels like a SaaS template, it has already failed.
Key Decisions
Booking on the same site
Consultation lives next to pricing and services, so the next step is not a scavenger hunt.
Her voice, not mine
The copy and clinical framing belong to the practice. I built the site. I did not write someone else's therapy.
Outcome
Live at puritywangechi.com as the public site for the practice, including booking.
What I Learned
- A professional site is a trust object first, and a website second.
